Rope Swing

Tyson took a half day from work, came home and invited me to go snorkeling with him.

We went to Old Wives beach on base. I had  never been snorkeling there before. now The tide was super low so we had to walk out for quite a while until it got deep enough to swim. Our legs got a little cut up when we would trip and fall on coral. But our feet were protected in our heavy duty water shoes.

We swam all the way to the edge of this cliff and then around it to a rope swing.

My fin fell off twice. Luckily Tyson noticed and had quick reflexes before it sank to the bottom.

The water all around was the most beautiful color and it was soooo warm. We couldn't stop commenting on it's beauty.

I climbed up on the rocks while he went to get the swing ready. The rocks were covered in crabs. I'm a fan of crabs but these ones kind of creep me out. They were all over. Eeeek!

It was such a fun impromptu way to spend the afternoon. We both had so much fun. Lydia loves to snorkel, but this was a long & fairly tough swim back to shore. We had to book it back home in time to pick her up at the bus. We saw some more of these super cool starfish. This one was particularly bendy.
