Our camp director chose a great camp this year for Girls camp but the one downside to it is that is SO EXPENSIVE! We have been busy, busy, busy all year coming up with ways to fund raise for this thing.
Our latest fundraiser was a Kids Carnival/ Yard sale. I wasn't able to be there for all of it because I was cheering for Tyson at the Ogden Marathon (more on that soon) so I made sure to do a lot of prep before hand.
I whipped up a whole slew of cupcakes for the cake walk and bake sale.
I enlisted a little army of girls to come over after school to help me frost these bad boys.
Oriahna, Alexis, Jennica, Berenice, Kaymee, Erin, Lizze and Isabella.
Lydia serenaded them with all of her piano pieces.
While they worked I made them green smoothies.
Tyson bought me these pinch bowls for Mothers day.
Aren't they the cutest????
They came it hand for dipping cupcakes in sprinkles.
The carnival included lots of fun events. They had a fish pond, cake walk, face painting, pie throwing, fight Darth Vader, a bake sale and lots of things at the Garage sale.
I made 100 Emergency Clutches (with lots of help from the girls) and we sold those too.
Details over here.
Lydia had a rehearsal and wasn't able to come to much of the carnival....but when she finally arrived Alexis painted her face.
She was thrilled with the results!
The whole event was a huge success!
Girls camp here we come!!! (in August)
