Tridell Part 1

Before we headed to Tridell we celebrated Valentines day.
Tyson bought me these beautiful orchids. They are my all time favorite flower. I've had a few plants in the past. Some have survived longer than others. I hope these last for a long time. They are beautiful!!!

Lydia received a new doll and I gave Tyson a new running shirt.
The Dillinghams brought this Christmas wreath treat over for Tyson for Valentine/ his birthday. They are his favorite. They also gave me a copy of the recipe so I can make it for him while they are in Australia serving their mission.
We had some fun with Lydia's hair. It was simple and turned out so sweet.

She dressed herself in pink from head to toe.
On the way to Tridell it is tradition to hold your breath over this long bridge. Tyson did it growing up and now so must Lydia. ;) Tradition lives on.
You are supposed to make a wish too.

We stopped to gas up and saw these snowmen on the side of the ride.
 They were too fun.
Lydia's cousins were thrilled to see her. She had boys to play with from the moment she woke up to the moment she went to bed. She was in heaven.

The next 25 or so images are just me having some fun using my camera and capturing the beauty of Tridell, some farm equipment, their sweet dog Roxy and some randomness.

 Grandma Goodrich's old home.

It was a beautiful day and a little later the kids joined me outside.

Lydia adores Cooper!
So do I. He is the sweetest.
Dusty Duke is a sweet heart too. He is the kindest boy and so much fun to converse with.

He told me he wants to be snowboarder when he grows up. I told him that if he makes it to the Olympics that I would come and cheer for him. He replied, "when I get to the Olympisc you'll be dead." Ha ha. How old does he think I am??? I gave him a quick math  lesson. :)

Seeing her face light up and play with her cousins brought me so much joy. I love seeing childhood memories being made.

We stopped to snap some jumping shots along the way.

 They ALL crack me up!

Dusty has the best freckles.

Savannah was home from University for the weekend. It was fun to catch up with her and hear all about college life.

The last time we made a trip to Tridell Lydia was only 1 years old.

Tridell is full of family history on both sides of Tyson's families. I love this road in between the homes where Jim and Beth both grew up. I would love to jump back in time to take a sneak a peek on some of their childhood days.Tyson says he feels more connected to his roots when we are there. I feel the same way about Southern Alberta. The Goodrich boys have such a nice life here out in the country.  I love that we got to spend some time with them.

More photo's and memories coming next week. :)

*sigh* I love Tridell. And Grandma's house. And the fields. And the tractors and his old trucks. And that road. Brings back so many memories for me! :D
