10 pound challenge

My dearest friend Steph and I attended a workout for a Studio 5 segment. We have been working out at night together as it is and when we found out this was being held out at our gym we thought we'd better go. 

This was the trainer, Melanie Douglas. She shared lots of exercise and eating tips via email throughout the month. She is intense!


They had a photographer at this event, bleh, who wants to be photographed while doing crunches? Ha ha. Not me. Steph is rocking it, check her out!!! 
It was a super hard work out, she had us doing everything under the moon, moves I'v never even heard of. It was a lot of fun and really hard all at the same time. 
A lot of people attended and we didn't know anyone. 
But we were glad for a great workout!

Before we got nice and sweaty they had us snap a photo with the host and trainers. 
They had some door prizes and I won this little kit. Yay! 

I won't tell you where we went afterwards... it may have included food....ha ha. Ok, I'll spill it, we met our husbands (Lydia) and some more friends at a new joint it town called Fizz and then we went and watched the Olympic opening ceremony's. 

It was a super fun time!
