Here is a fun Friday Flash back for you. (Olympic style)
This is my Grandma Selman and myself in 1988.
My Grandma passed away when Lydia was a baby. (about 4 years ago.)
Her sunglasses are totally back in style. I sure love and miss her.
See that man in the white tuque?
That's my Dad.
He ran the Olympic torch.
Don't ask me for anymore details. I was 5 remember.
That is the torch.
How cool is that?
Not sure where my sisters are? I assume my Mom is taking the picture.
Isn't it tragic how Mom's aren't in all the pictures?
I'm in the same boat now. Its all good. ;)
That Mascots were named Heidi and Howdy. I do remember that very important details....but not how my Dad was able to run the torch. ;) Once again. I was 5.
This is a Shell gas pump.
What??? The most random mascot ever!?!
I'm not sure if I attended the opening ceremony or not but this photo was in my photo album. Hmmm. I probably should have called home before posting this.
This is not the most flattering of poses. But here we are in the snow in our Canadian snowsuits.
Last one....me in my 5 year old glory!
Happy Friday!
