On Halloween-eve Lydia and I whipped up a Monster pizza. We used sausage for the hair, tomatoes, cheese and olives for the eyes, peppers for the ears, eyebrows and nose....and the rest is pretty self explanatory.
He was delicious!

It was Courtney's birthday ON Halloween and the night before for our Young Women's activity we decorated Halloween cakes. It turned out pretty fun and I told Courtney it could be for her!

We spent the afternoon with the Cole's. We went to lunch and then after the girls played and Cru napped, we got everyone dressed up ready to go.
Cru was the HULK.
Courtney was a pirate.
Jake scared the neighborhood as a Zombie.
We hit Scott's works Trunk-or-Treat.
Nothing like filling their tummies with sugar floss before going Trick-or-Treating.

We stopped by our favorite scary house in South Ogden. We went during the day so Lydia wouldn't get too freaked out. These folk go ALL out and this year they had even more decorations.

We ate a yummy dinner with my parents and then we headed out the door.
Nana took her to her neighbors. They spoiled Lydia with candy. We could have stopped after 3 houses.
We ran into some darling Minnions.
We found Logan, Heather and their Dog.

Yep....they even had a slide, on their driveway with a huge spotlight shining on their house.
The kids were in Halloween heaven.
This house definitely won.
We saw so many fun pumpkins and decorations.

We had to go inside this Haunted house to get candy.
He was holding a bowl and you had to go right up to him to get a treat.
Scary eh?
I was glad she had Logan to go with he took good care of her.
At one point in the night he layed down on the grass and he was hard to see in his purple suit.
Then....out of the blue as we were walking Lydia fell down on the grass to hide too.
She kept doing it and it cracked us up every time.
Once it got really dark we met up with Jake and Courtney and finished out the neighborhood with them.
At another house, not this dark one, but one with some elderly men sitting out on the porch was a crowd of children. Heather went up to see what the fuss was. The old men were talking to the children and enjoying looking at the costumes. I was about to walk away and then Heather told me Lydia was singing. The men asked her to sing her favorite song to get some candy. She sang, "I am a Child of God." Then they let her take 4 pieces of candy because she accidentally told them she was 4 instead of 5. Ooops. :)
The big dump.
She was pretty beat. We went out from 5:45 until 8:00 p.m.
Just over 6 lbs. Way to go kid.
Her favorites were the ring pop, chips, popcorn and tootsie rolls.
The boys had fun organizing and trading. Mom had pumpkin eggnog for us adults to try and pumpkin cinnamon rolls. They were scrumptious.
It was definitely a Wicked fun night!

Man, I am going to do this for fun one of these years.
