A few 'lasts' and every day life

My little man Caden and the Patterson girls were over to play on this day. Candice (their Mom) was bit by a Brown Recluse (spider) and even after 4 months was still having complications. She headed to the ER this day with her husbands and dropped her kiddlets off at my place.

I knew it would be one of the last times we would get to play. So we dressed up (their favorite activity) and had a dance party.

I went to the Science Museum one last time. Sharon and her children joined us. This place is just fabulous and we will miss it

We visited Hilary's pool for play group one last time.

Little was pinkalicious...with her wings, suit & air mattress.

We sweated away during out last visit to the Splash pad with the Walser's. All of our precious shade tree's were knocked down during the tornado. (Back here.)

It was HOT...but these munchkins still had a lot of fun!

Our couch sold in 5 minutes and was picked up 25 minutes later. Tyson's offered one last book to read on the couch and I watched too. Sad day! It was a good couch...good and sad memories. One of which we shall never forget.  More on that  here.

We did a cooking demo night at Young Woman's and for dessert we made Smores, in the oven...who knew? They taste just as good.

Natha, Summer, Mia, Chelsey, Hilary, Zacharie & Madison.  We also made some ham fried rice and an oriental chicken salad. Mmmmm!

Here are some fun photo's of Lydia and Tyson playing with bubbles. I can't tell who was having the most fun.

We had some more fun with NO heat and NO hairspray girls. It worked even better then the last time, back here.

She keeps getting more and more creative with her building designs. I'm always impressed.

We saw the idea to chalk the tips of your hair, over here.Caden was over so he got in on the action too. I don't want to know what his brothers and Dad thought, but Tya thought it was hilarious.

I went a little tad overboard. We will have to try this one again.

Lydia was styling it up so much I couldn't help but snap a few of her on this day. She requested high pony tails and put that outfit together all by herself.

Our library offers a great summer incentive reading program. We were busy  during June but never too busy to read books. We set Lydia's goal to read 20 books, we ended up reading 25 in a few short weeks. Then we went back to turn in our booklet. This librarian quizzed her on every book, she asked her specific questions about each book on our list. Lydia passed with flying colors.

She went home with a medal, a star and a pack of free food vouchers for different places around town.

Way to go Lydia!

Why is everything "one last time"? Are you moving?
