July 4th, 2012

The 4th of July was filled with friends, more friends, food and fireworks!

We spent one evening at the Sorenson's and after dinner we did some sparklers.

On the 4th we ate dinner at the Hales's home...played some games and then headed to Reeve's park for some firework action. The Elders joined us for dinner and we love having them around.

Playing a new game called Bang.

I fancied up Lydia's hair. It was supposed to be a star. Yep, I failed immensely, so I chalked it up instead and added some glow sticks. Ha ha. I think this will become a tradition. It was SO easy to find her when we were in the dark walking with the crowds.

This is what our daughter does at every firework show....but she wasn't the only one this time.

PS. Don't ask me if Tyson enjoyed the fireworks. He was off repossessing cars with Chris. Yep, read that correctly. He had a new job, re-poing cars in the dark of the night. You can ask him more about that job, he has some fun stories. It was a misunderstanding and long story....we missed him but it's kind of funny now.
