Last year we attended a community easter egg hunt….and we came home with ONE egg. Only one. Lydia wasn’t upset. But it wasn’t really a real hunt.
This year I took matters into my own hands and I planned a play group egg hunt of our own. I e-mailed all the Moms on my weekly e-mail list and invited them all to bring a dozen eggs for however many kids they were bringing.
A lot of families came, all the kiddo’s went home with lots of eggs, we had a HUGE yard to play in, thanks to Dana Rex, and I was pleased with how it all went down. We got to feed chickens too!

We sure are blessed to live in such a good area of the world with all these great woman, moms and kids to call our friends.
