Home for Christmas at last! It was so wonderful to walk in and see everyone. Mom's house looked perfect, she had a delicious meal and everyone was so happy!
The kids at the table. Jake (7), Beth (11), Coco (3), Lydia (2) Logan (8).
Aaaaawwww. Together again! Scott misses Tyson like crazy when we are away. Vice versa. These two have a relationship only they can really understand.
Family talent show. Lydia sang, "Do, Re Mi" from Sound of Music. (sort of...she got a little stage fright.)
Heather and Justin singing- had no clue he played the guitar. Way cool!
Coco singing, "You Better Watch Out."

Mom always reads the Nativity each year while the kids act it out. Lydia noticed her and gave her a little wave, I happened to grab the shot. So cute. Her new wave as stuck, it is kind of funny.

Lydia is holding strong to her role as the 'Star.' Coco got promoted to an angel this year. Both did a fabulous role staying in character.

Beth, Calvin, Max, Logan, Natey, Jake, Khorman, Coco & Lydia.

Just some silly-ness.

I was not prepared as I should have been. When all the Mom's left the room to grab presents for their kids to open. I panicked. I didn't want Lydia to be the only one without a gift (aka pj's to open), but I had nothing to give her. Soooo, I ran upstairs, grabbed her old pj's and wrapped em up. She was a little big confused. But for all she knows it is one of our crazy family Christmas customs. :) Ha ha. Don't they all look so great!

Lydia woke up and my ALWAYS so happy girls was so sad. She was super sensitive and crying at every little thing. We took a few pictures of her opening her Santa gift and she was in tears. Tyson finally realized she was hungry, the night before she was so busy playing with cousins we didn't even make sure she ate at the kids table and we hadn't eaten breakfast yet. Poor girl was just starving. After a little food she was good to go!
Lydia's Santa toy, a little doll with clothes that snap off and on. Too fun. Logan wanted a camera for Christmas and walked in to find a BIG box, he was disappointed until he opened it and found what he wanted. :) Ha ha.
Logan and Jake both got electric scooters. It was a nice day so we bundled up and headed outside. They are super fun. After we realized the weight limit is 100 lbs no more adults got a ride. Shucks!
Logan gave Lydia a true gift from the heart. He gave her his old Fisher Price Digital camera. Every time she comes to visit she always plays with it and usually would wear the batteries out. He knew that she would really love it. He's such a sweet heart!
Every year Mom makes Butterhorns for our Christmas morning breakfast. They are mouth watering. They taste like Christmas....I just love them!!! Lydia did too!
Here is a collage of all our gift opening. My favorite gifts were my new sewing machine from Mom & Dad, kitchen canisters from Tyson (boring...but it is what I wanted) and our Canadian gloves from Aunt Beverly!
Tyson got a new briefcase, clothes and OU basketball shorts.
Lydia was spoiled with clothes, books, a princess dress and toys.
Sarah, Mom, Laura & Heather with our new Canadian Olympic mittens. Thanks Aunt Bev- I love them!!!
Courtney got a new princess table....the girls just sat and sat some more, talking, playing and having a good time.
Logan got a new leather jacket and we said he could wear it on Uncle Scott's motorcycle. (Teasing of course) but then he busted out his Uncle Scott camera pose. He pulls it off quite well don't you think?
I couldn't have asked for a better Christmas morning. I honestly can say the presents were nice and I am grateful for everything we received(THANK YOU EVERYONE) but being with my family was what I wanted the most.
