Goodrich Family Christmas

Photobucket
After a long Christmas afternoon nap Lydia was ready to open a few more presents at Grandma & Grandpa Goodrich's house. She received her very first cabbage patch doll. I remember my first one....they still smell the exact same. I could sniff them all day!

They sure spoiled us, Beth always gets the best gifts (she is an amazing shopper)....things we always really need or have wanted and wouldn't buy for ourselves. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

PS. Tyson's new year {resolution} has been to use his Utility gadget every day. Ha ha. He loves that thing.

The Goodworth's stopped by on their way to Idaho. It is always good to see them, even if it isn't for very long.

We also got to see the Goodrich's--but only for an hour. They were on their way to Disney land. They knew they were going to California, but their parent's surprised them by having Grandpa drive them to the airport "to drop him off for a meeting with a friend. What a great surprise for them!!! Grandpa said that Grayson responded, "This is the best day of my life!" Awww.

On Monday night we made a quick trip to see the Jone's family and their amazing new house. Tyson and I both just loved it. They did such an amazing job at fixing it up. I got to see it before they bought it and it looked completely different.

We had a little but too much fun playing some Rock Band. I didn't know too many of the songs. But I recognize Spice Girls, " I'll tell you what I want....what I really really want" Oh my goodness half way through the song I wanted to crawl into a hole and die. I was so embarrassed by the lyrics. I am 100% sure that when I bought that CD in 7th grade that I did NOT understand what they meant. Ahhhh! You think I would have been bright enough to stop singing but my competitive nature got the best of me and I wanted to get a high score. Hopefully my young 11 year old niece didn't understand them either.

Allie, Lydia and Jada rocking out. No, I did not pose this shot Mike Felsted. :) Yes it would be like me to pose a shot on the rare occasion, but the girls were doing this on their own and while they were supposed to be at the table eating.

Tyson took Lydia out in the snow one afternoon and made a baby snowman. She thought it was the greatest thing and had to come down in the basement to show it to me. :)
