3.2010 {Night Out}

Photobucket

I finally got to see Avatar...Tyson went with 'the guys' a while back and came home and said I have to see it in 3D and not just when it comes out on DVD, so we went out last weekend, tried to hit the early show (cheaper) but it was sold out! Boo! We were not about to dog it for Alice and Wonderland, (I'll save that one for DVD...even though it is getting good reviews). We didn't have anything else to do, we were not hungry yet, so we went back and picked up Lydia and found a later showing.

We sure miss the luxury of grandparents to baby-sit but are glad to have friends that are willing to watch Lydia for us from time to time. They told us she was very good and especially reverent during their family scripture studies. What?

Oops I am so bad?!? Yes! I have never thought about reading Lydia the scriptures until now. She loves to see pictures of Jesus, books about church stuff, she knows a few Primary songs...but I guess I better get on that. I need to buy some of those picture books. (Mom do you want to send the good 'ol big blue ones in your basement on over?) Ha, I wish.

Anyways we had a fun date night...and hopefully can put together a baby-sitting group here like the one we had in Utah, it is so nice to get out of the house with only my purse and no diaper bag. :)

PS. I thought it was a GREAT movie, not one I would watch over and over again, but glad I got to see it in 3D. Mr. James Cameron is sure amazing and it looks like he has transformed movie making from here on out.

PPS. (if that is even a thing) YAY for Sandra Bullock...she is one of my all time favorite female actresses, I LOVE all of her movies since: While You Were Sleeping, Hope Floats, 2 Weeks Notice, Miss Congeniality, The Proposal...and The Blind Side is up here now as well! SOOO good!!!
Had to throw that it too!

The end.

oh I think she is just gorgeous, and was FABULOUS in The Blind Side...i LOVE that show! Also, the scripture reading thing, it is a GONG show at our house, but we just read 5 verses from the B of M, and they are done...but I figure it is better than none...we got them the little B of M and they love to get their scriptures out!
