This N That Sept/Oct

Another cute baby turned 1. That's a big deal around here. I made her a Barbie cake. I don't think I ever took a picture of it but trust me it was cute. And Lydia picked out this dress to give her.

Tyson went on a boat dive with a group of men from the Wardroom. I will do a post about it later. Very cool stuff!

Lydia is a gatherer. Friends....friends and more friends.
She started back up at Surf in September and she has been improving a lot.
I hosted a luncheon with 4 of my friends. We put together the most delicious salad bar. My friend April made dirty diet cokes and I finished them off with a fruit pizza.
Ty was baptized. It was a perfectly simple service and we felt the spirit so strong.
His brother Alan (16) baptized him.
We attended church in Merizo and I finally got a picture with baby True Love. Yep. That's her name. True Love. She was a year younger when I first met her. She has gotten so big. I love her.

I painted this for Sister Baum. She goes home in 4 months and we will miss her!
This is true here. The road from our neighborhood to Big Navy Base is SO AWFUL. We have bought 3 new tires in one year. But they are repaving it this week. Woo hoo!
Top notch Elders right here!
I taught Lydia how to blow bubbles. She is almost as good as her Mom....almost.
We fed Sister Aviata her last meal on Guam. She left us for the island Yap.
Lydia Booed SO many neighbors during the month of October. I had fun making all sorts of sweets and she delivered them in the night....dressed in black. So fun!
Three new apostles to hear from. So exciting!!!

I painted pictures for my cousins cousin. This couple is stunning. I loved painting them!

Face Timing with little Brooklyn.
I stopped by to bring some items for Lydia's teacher on character day.
Lunch with Lydia and Miss Mason.
My favorite sleeping pose of Lewis. He has many! That is practically all he does. Did you know cats need 21-22 hours of sleep per day? Lewis does.
Safety first.
We turned our door into a Mummy for about 12 hours. Humidity and crate paper don't go well together.

Date night. Husbands took our picture. We went to Panda Express and then to the movie the Martian.

I enlisted the Sisters to help me with singing time. Music Measles. So fun!

I bought Lydia a pair of Japanese pajamas for $1. Usually $15. They ripped the first night she wore them and she made sure I remembered to sew them the next day when she left them for school.
Fish Taco's at Carmens. Mmmmmm!
I've been searching for a Globe all over Guam for a year and I finally found this one at a garage sale. I love it and it fits perfectly on my built in shelf.
Trying on the uniform to see if it fit.
Trying to dress up like Mom AND Dad at the same time. Ha ha.
Lewis  loves napping on Lydia's bed while she's at school.
Long sleeves are a must when you eat ice cream in an Air Conditioned building. Brrrr!
Waiting for Surf lessons to start. Rough life!
Mommy Daughter date to Pan. She leaned over during the scene where the Ship fly's away from the orphanage and said, "Mom, I just love this music."
Gab Gab day with the Garcia girls.
Sumay Grill serves some mean burgers. Mmmm!
Lydia is a champion window washer. Not one finger print left!
Isabelle Shirai turned 9....so we went to to her birthday party too.
Choo the right. Ha ha. Love it!
