I have been wanting to see a SEA Turtle the entire time we have been exploring this ocean. We went snorkeling with our new friends Tara and Cody. Tara spotted this one. He was perched on some coral. Tyson dove down next to him and then the turtle went for a swim. I followed him/ stalked him for quite a while. He was soooo cool. He came up to the surface to take a breath and then went back down again.
I love that these beautiful creatures live right here for us to observe.
My next goal is to see an Octopus. Our local friends served them for dinner last night....I've seen them on a plate, at the aquarium and now I want to see one in the ocean.
PS. No I didn't eat the octopus. It was buffet style...thank heavens. But I heard they were chewy.
