A few things about my new 7 year old:
Lydia plays soccer and goes to surf lessons.
She insists on walking to the bus stop all by herself.
She is always in a good mood.
She loves having friends over to play.
She adores her cat Lewis.
She never complains about having to go to bed at night. (7:30 p.m.)
She never wants to get in the shower but once she is in she never wants to get out.
She still loves Ramen noodles.
She still dislikes potatoes in any form- including french fries.
She has lost 2 teeth.
She is a fantastic reader.
She has learned how to tie her shoes and ride a bike.
She memorized 10 scriptures this summer.
She tells me horses are her favorite animal.
She loves to ride her bike and get the mail.
She loves texting her cousin Gracie.
She wishes she was a real mermaid and wants to go to Mako Island.
Her room is always tidy.
She loves to scrub toilets.
She can catch a gecko likes nobody's business.
Today she told me she sang primary songs with her friend Mason on the bus ride home from school.
When she has a blank piece of paper 9 out of 10 times she will draw a rainbow.
She is awesome at Hoola hooping.
She is not a fan of car trips across the island. (car sick)
She loves swimming for hours at a time in the ocean.
She is always willing to try new thing. (minus food)
Her drink of choice is water and nothing else.
She asks great questions.
She often confesses to mistakes she's made at bedtime. Its super cute.
She still loves to watch any and all musicals.
She loves watching old school music video's with her Dad. (Boys II Men....etc.)

What a cute little baby! That 7 years went by fast!! Lydia is seriously one of the coolest kids ever!! She's amazing!
