She ate her favorite breakfast- scrambled eggs, bacon and cinnamon toast and then headed out the door to school.
After lunch I stopped by her classroom and brought her class some donuts. These are some of her little friends. Hadassah, Mason, Lydia, Brooke and Ella.
After school we headed packed out car with party supplies, picked up some church friends and headed to the pool for her party.
We invited 8 friends and included all of their siblings.Tyson and I organized some water games with all the kids.
Shirai's, Lallatins, Hunts, Engichy's, Merrill's, O'Neils, Virgins, Heckerts & Garcia's.
I served spinach artichoke dip, Simply Naked chips, carrots, chips, goldfish, watermelon, mini cupcakes and Gatorade.
We came home and opened her presents just the three of us (a Guam/military custom here) and then we watched the Chipmunk Adventure on DVD, ate some pizza and went to bed. She went to bed happily exhausted and excited to be another year older.
The next evening on her real birthday we had the missionaries coming for dinner so I also whipped up a doll cake and we all ate a piece of Elsa this year. Mmmm!
A very happy birthday indeed.
