Rock N Rail Horse Ranch

We have had been blessed to spend so much time with the Shepherd and Garcia families this summer. We have all needed each other and in the past summer months we have had a lot of fun too. The Shepherd's leave the island in August and the Garcia's have one year left with us. We have done Surf lessons with them, Gymnastics, spent many days at the beach and one morning this past week we went to a horse ranch.

Lydia got a little car sick on the hour long drive to the other side of the island.  Poor thing. We don't do many road trips here, ;) so I forget that she gets like this.

We also didn't know horses were even on Guam. When Lisa called to invite I was shocked.
Lydia tells me that horses on her favorite animal.
Kate (age 3) has grown up on this island since she was a baby so this was her first time seeing horses.

The kids got to groom the horses, clean out their feet, saddle them, take em for a ride and then feed them some apples and mango's.

Isabel, Kara, Emma & Allie.

I didn't have to tell these girls to smile for me. They had smiles plastered on from ear to ear the entire time.

When her turn was over she told me that when she grows up she wants to jump horses.

When the sun moved out from behind those clouds we began to melt. So we paid, and then took off and headed to lunch at Andersen Air force base where we met  up with Tyson (he was attending a training meeting all week long) and a Senior missionary couple, the Thomas's happened to be there as well. This island is small. We are always running into people we know.
