Lydia's first soccer season has come and gone. It had its ups and downs, but for the most part it was a success. We all preferred her week night practices to the actual games. They were at 5 pm and that is the perfect time of day to be outside here.
Games were held on Saturdays in the heat of the day! It was not favorable conditions. But she went out there and tried her best.
Her team of first timer girls played quite a few all boy teams, local boys....who were really good. But we held our own. I say we, I do nothing but supply the water and sit under my big umbrella with Tyson.
They had an award ceremony. These are her Coaches, Coach Paul and Daniella.
She is over the moon about her trophy.
After the awards we played a parent vs. kids game and I say we, but I should say Tyson played in my behalf. I wore flip flops.
I think the best part of soccer is definitely the friends and I know Lydia would agree.
