This N That (march 2015)

My home is more often than not filled with little girls after school. Sometimes they play store, dress up or go camping. This is 3 year old Kate.

This is a fabric store I was told about. It is piled floor to ceiling and has only two isles that barely fit one medium sized person. It is chaos and has zero organization to it in the least. But if I get desperate I'm sure I could come back and climb around until I find what I need.
 Sunday nap hair.
Then a Sunday night stroll to wear her out for bed.
We finally took a picture of her school
Peekaboo was our door greeter and program pass er outer. Cutest one I've ever seen!
The Talafofo Elders came for dinner. Elder Canakaivata is from Fiji. When he was 15 his friend invited him to a dance at his church and he joined the church after that. He's a great guy. We love Elder Wright too. We met him back in December and he's been here working ever since.
We stole our friends cell phone at a party, no we didn't steal it, it was in the cup holder of the chair we were sitting in. So what did we do with it. We took about 30+ pictures of ourselves before she came back looking for it.
Have I mentioned my love for Piggie and Elephant books? I love them. It's true. They make us laugh and make us say, "awww." Mo Willems is genius.
Lydia's kindergarten class learned some cute spring songs and sang them for the office staff at school. That is her principal in the green shirt and the assis. principal in the blue behind the desk.
This is how I used to spend my Saturday mornings. I haven't been to one sale in 6 months. Crazy.
We piled in this crew to take to soccer practice. (Emma, Ella & Braden)
Javier, one of Tyson's staff members had a birthday so his whole department went to dinner at Javier's choice, Chiles.
Tyson works with a good group of people. It was nice to get to know them better. Matthew, Lydia's buddy from school was there too.
Lydia is quite the artist. I loved her cat she drew with chalk in her art class.
They all turned out so unique and some of them make me laugh. Now her cat is hanging on my wall at home.
This is my new beach toy. Its fabulous.
Beautiful rocks at Gab Gab. I love nature so much.

Lydia makes friends wherever she goes. It have to give her a little encouragement at first but then she does it all on her own.
We attended a baptism for Sarah Medrano. She met her husband in the Navy and they were married here on Guam. Now she is pregnant with her first baby. I met her for the first time this night and GUESS what they are naming their baby girl. Yep. LAURA. Then they specified and said they were going to name her LAURA JANE. Then I smiled from ear to ear, I might have squeeled and told them that, that was also my middle name. I better get busy making something for Baby Laura Jane. I'm thinking about embroidering something with our name on it.
After the baptism we went to McDonalds for a ice cream cone and then to the beach to watch the sunset. We were laughing when we saw the menu. Spam, Rice & Eggs for breakfast. Ha ha ha. They love spam here.
Ben, Mandy & Kel were over playing games. Mandy checked FB while she was here and someone had posted about a fire next to our neighborhood. We went to investigate. It was big but it never did hip the fence and come any closer.

Tyson on his new rip stick.
I finally documented out MAX speed limit sign. You won't find anything higher on the whole island. Our little island girls were over one day and Lydia was telling them about Freeways. Marsaleen asked in her soft voice, "Why do people have to go so fast?" It was sweet and I really didn't have a sufficient answer for her.

We love Elephant and Piggie books too. My kindergarten son can read them and they are just so cute and funny. I love the pictures you posted of the green rocks. Amazing!
