Spring Break

Spring break has come and gone. It was marvelous. We went to the beach 3 times in 7 days. When our friends are getting ready to PCS- that's military code for move to their next duty station they are always saying that they wished they had gone to the beach more. I'm going to try and prevent ever saying that. 

We went to Ritidian with Tyson and spent the afternoon there. It rained and then cleared up for a nice time. 

Lydia LOVES donuts, just like her Nana and we heard this place had some good ones. 

 On a drive we spotted this lovely tree. I think it reminds me of the tree of life from Lehi's dream.

 My friend instigated another trip to the beach. We went along with 4 other families and we stayed until dark. This is Lydia KISSING a starfish.

Mason loves to swim for hours in the ocean so they are perfect for each other.

 Lydia has discovered sea cucumbers. She picks them up & squeezes them as if they were a water toy. Silly girl!

We met up with the same neighbor friends and all of us finally saw Cinderella. It was darling. I kept waiting for them to break out into song, but it was still well done without any music.

After Lydia's soccer game we hit up our favorite Italian restaurant and ate our fav Pizza. It's delicious! 

After our meal we headed to the beach. We let Lydia play in the ocean with her soccer uniform on. Then it started to rain and the beach cleared out in time for this beautiful sunset.

It was more beautiful in person but I tried to capture it anyway. The end.
