Sports Night

Once a month Tyson and I help the missionaries host a sports night at the church. In March we had our most successful one yet. 64 people. Most of them were less active or non members. The Missionaries were on cloud nine.

I like to play sports, but I always make sure to have activities for the non sport players. We sometimes bring nail polish, coloring books & crayons or board games. I always try to make a treat too.

This is my friend Urmina and her nephew Christopher. Urmina has 8 children of her own and is such a special lady.

Before going home we always have a spiritual message and a group prayer. Most of these families don't have cars so then we start carpooling them all home. Sometime we call in reinforcement ward members to come help us. I look forward to this night. It gets people in the building who haven't come in a while and it provides a safe haven for a lot of them. I love getting to know more people too, I always leave someone new to call a friend.

Tyson beat every last one of those young boys/Dads/missionaries at lightning. Three rounds in a row. He's still got it!
