I have loved photographing this beautiful place, We enjoy going for Sunday drives and Tyson stops whenever he, Lydia or I see something that we think is eye catching. Other times I just do drive by's. ;)
We are going to head back to this particular place and do some clean up.
This darling local family was enjoying the warm ocean on a Sunday evening.
I can drink in these blossoms. They smell AMAZING!
Plumeria flowers have shot up to the top of my list of favorite flowers!
They fit perfectly in our hair.
This was a gorgeous look out on the Southern part of the Guam.
This is an old war vehicle we spotted growing under some greenery.
These pretty flowers are right in my back yard. The rain waters them and I don't have to do anything by enjoy their beauty.
Another close up.
My favorite thing we've done here on the Island is attend the Merizo group. It is a group of Saints that meet in Merizo. (45 mins from our ward building) We picked up two investigators for/with the missionaries. He was a man in a wheelchair in his twenties along with his girlfriend. He had changed his mind about coming when we arrived at his home but Elder Holmes just started pushing his wheelchair towards our vehicle and he came and really enjoyed the meeting in the end. I thought it was a bold and brave move of Elder Holmes. I was proud of him.
My favorite kid sat in front of us during Sarcrament meeting, he and another boy his age were alone and both of them had just been confirmed and given the Holy Ghost. Every time I would sing one this boy who looked a little bit younger than Jake would turn around and smile at me. Then after turning around about 6 -8 or times he started giving me thumbs up. It was cracking me up. I wonder if he'd ever heard a white crazy soprano singer like myself. He told me in Primary that he thought I sang lovely. So sweet. He sang great too!
Church is only 1 hour in Merizo. Pretty soon they will be moving to a building that our Bishop is preparing for them and then they will attend 3 hours.
This place was so special because of the beautiful people who came to worship and take the sacrament. We were 40 in attendance and one of the largest congregations they have had recently. The spirit was thick and I loved being among these happy people who love their Savior like I do.
