Back in North Salt Lake, Jim and Beth have a HUGE beautiful tree in the front of their home. I believe this tree is over 30 years old. It has been trimmed and trimmed in the past but nothing stops it from continuing to grow strong. Tyson's sibling decided to pitch in and give it a really swell trimming before Grandpa and Grandma returned home from Australia. Tyson called around and found a company who was available and for a decent price they came and went to work.
Here are a few before pictures.
This tree covered part of the roof and the neighbors roof. At one point it stretched out over the sidewalk and hit the mail boxes. Tyson took care of those branches.
This tree is however very loved. The Grandkids and neighbor kids love climbing in it and swinging on the swing. I love that on a hot afternoon the entire lawn is covered with shade.
Two workers climbed up the tree like it was no big deal. Strapped themselves to the branches and went to work with chain saws.
We were anxious to see how it was going to look at the end. The process took a few hours. We watched most of it. So did a handful of neighbors.
It looked a little goofy during the process.
Ha ha ha! I'm glad it didn't stay looking like this.
Here is the finished product. It looked pretty bare. Lydia called it our naked tree.
By next Spring next year this tree will be full once more, I have no doubt about it.
