A week with Maveric

Maveric came to and spent the week with us. His Mom and Dad were vacationing at Lake Powell. Lydia and I were thrilled to have him. (Tyson was away as well.) He is a sweet heart with a super unique personality. He's a tad opinionated about random things but that made life interesting. My problem is that I didn't always figure out what he wanted fast enough. He can say lots of words but some are easier to decipher than others.

He loved coloring and said PURPLE about 79 times a day. I think that was his word for coloring.

One day he screamed at us because we were watching him eat so we wheeled him to the corner and he was much happier.

He loved our kitchen dance parties.
We read LOTS of books.
He took some great naps each day.

We frequented some local parks so he could use up all of his energy.

We ran a few errands. He is a great little shopper.

After picking up Lydia from school one day we surprised her and drove to the Rec Center.

He loves to swim.

Lydia went down this yellow slide about 13 times.

We played a copy cat game with Maveric while he ate some ice cream one night. When he realized we were copying him he made us do some funny things.

Owen came to play on the usual Friday and these two got nice and dirty together.

Maveric turned TWO on our watch. We made him a stack of pancakes for breakfast. His family celebrated him a few days later.

I sure love this little guy. He's been a fun boy to watch grow up the past two years.
