Trophy Makeovers

I wanted to help out with Girls Camp so I made some cute Trophy's for the camp awards. I got the idea when I was going through some of my own teenage boxes. I had a few soccer and dance trophy's from the good ol' days and instead of taking them to the DI (thrift shop) I went to the DI and bought 16 more. It took two DI's to find them all, Layton had the most and Centerville came in second.

I bought a few cans of spray paint. (the cheapest I could find.) It took a few coats to get them all covered. But it was a hot and dry day so it was a fast process.

I love how they turned out.
They had a pretty gloss to them.

I cut strips of card stock to fit the trophy's before we headed to camp. They stuck well with a little hot glue.

Then I found a few lists from Sugardoodle to get ideas for the awards. We made up a few of our own to fit our individual girls. I let two of our Youth Leaders do the presenting and the girls loved their awards!

I snagged a few girls before they headed off for 1 more hour of free time before we headed home.

Sister Howey's made me laugh the most.

No link.
This idea came from me. ;)

PS. When I was went to Girls Camp I got the piro maniac award two years in a row. I love to build fires and keep em going, I love to cook over fires, I love to sing around fires and tell stories. Fires are the best!
