Ice Castles

Mom planned a wonderful family outing.
She took us all to the Ice Castle up in Midway.

It was
 spectacular,
stunning,
incredible and
magnificent. Just to name a few adjectives.

It is man made castle and here is a video showing how they created it here.
I would love having one in my yard someday. I'm adding that to my bucket list.

Here are all of my favorite pictures I took. It was a fun challenge trying to capture all of it amazing beauty.

This was the view as we first walked inside.

There were lots of slot canyons to go exploring in and it was easy to become lost.

The kids loved the ice slide.
I loved this view.

When Mom was running to the car to get the kids snow pants a lady offered to take our picture.

Thanks for such a fun day, Mom!

Lydia found an ice throne.

While we waited for the sun to go down we headed into Heber for some dinner.
Then we made it back to see the castle at night.
I liked seeing it in both lighting, each had its own beauty.

The memories made on this day will be remembered for a long time.
