It is official....Beth and Jim are now Elder and Sister Goodrich. This occurred a few weeks ago. It was a special evening. The Jones, Goodworths and us included got to sit in on what I thought would only be the setting apart. But President Cole initiated a family testimony meeting, it was intimate and the spirit was very present. I love hearing from everyone, especially my nieces and nephews. Lydia finally got the urge to bear her testimony but their was no break and then she changed her mind.
We went back to the house for some ice cream and visiting....I teased all the kids that it would be their last ice cream treats at Grandma's for a long time. Grandma's freezer is always stocked with yummy sweets.
However, everyone has been back since and most likely had one more Popsicle or Drumstick. Elder and Sister Goodrich already went in and out of the MTC. They are home now...keeping busy, and patiently waiting to hear from the church mission department concerning their Australian visa's.
Where are we these days? We are attached at the hip with the I-15....our car can make the drive from Ogden to NSL without our help these days.....we are back and forth, here or there because it changes from week to week.
We are excited for them. They will no doubt be amazing missionaries. Australia is lucky will be lucky them!
