Don't we all love moving? The stress. Can't find this. Or that. All the chaos. Some more stress. The anxiety that it won't all fit in the truck. Because it almost didn't!
When we first moved here, Lydia would not walk over this little hump in the sidewalk without holding my hand. She was too scared.
It would have been A LOT less stressful even it wasn't for HIM! Yep, my Dad came to help us. We wanted his help and needed it. I can be tough when I have to be. But a 19 hour drive with Lydia would have been tiring alone and not something I wished to do. He was an incredible amount of support, help and strength to us.
On the actually moving day we had beds to take down, electronics to disable, a few more odds and ends and by 4:00 p.m. we were ready to go. I was exhausted, but grateful it was all organized and labeled. We ate at Chik-Filet, dropped Lydia off at the Hales and then got to work.
Lydia's room.
Master bedroom.
Dad, Tyson Pace & Shad Satterthwaite helped us pack up our storage unit and then the army of angels from the Elder Quorum helped us do our apartment. So many came and some didn't even have anything to do.
Tyson and Dad had one sweat bands. It was a hot and sweaty day!

After the men left 4 of their wives came and helped me clean. We cleaned from 10 p.m. to 12 p.m. and then talked till about one, maybe later.... I was exhausted by the end of this day.
Aubrey, Sharon, Emily, Sarah, Hilary & I in our after cleaning glory.
It was hot, humid...even at midnight....the place smelled like ammonia, skunk and we still had loads of fun and my place had never looked better!
