Tornado Damage

Our Sunday outing included a drive around town to see  some damage caused by the tornado. We went to Andrews park. On our way to and from we saw quite a few damaged roofs, car windshields bashed up and lots of toppled over tree’s. It was a small tornado, an F2, I can’t imagine what a more powerful one would have done.

They still had some major roads closed off where the tornado hit the hardest.

Here are the pictures I took. Dad, I thought of you and put Lydia all the ones I could. Hope you are happy. I know you don’t like people-less photo’s. :)

The upper parts of many tree’s were completely stripped of any bark.

The Elders & high priests of our ward assembled yesterday and did a lot of clean up. We heard some neat experiences about that at church and from some friends. We are still counting our blessings that our city wasn’t hit worse.
