Cousin time.

Feel it between you toes. It is soft, cool, luscious. Yep, I am in love with this grass. Awww! I spent much time sitting on it watching the kids play in Mom and Dads backyard.

Around here you don't find grass like this....well except for the outside the Oklahoma city temple. Quick story: Last month we attended a 7:30 session and we noticed the grass. Tyson randomly said, "When we come out....I want to lay down and roll around in it." So 9:30 rolled around, it was a dark and cool evening and we didn't quite roll, but we found a spot, out of sight and lay down staring up at the temple enjoying the beautiful grass and view. Double awwww!

I love all the cousin time Lydia gets when we come to visit. It is a break for me too. I trust them with her and they go off and do there own thing most of the time. I'll see her at the occasional meal and get to witness an awesome sad fest when I tell her it is time for bed. When her cousins would go home for the evening, she'd be left alone, go find Granddad and ask over and over, "Where my fwends go?" "Where my fwends go?"

It was a loving battle on a daily basis as to who got to hold Lydia's hand,
sit by her at the table or in the car. She could definitely the love!!!!

Logan picked Lydia some flowers....and sweeter than that, each night he listened to her pray,
read her 'Brown Bear, Brown Bear' and sang her a song before she went to bed.

One afternoon was spent at the Club pool and Dad surprised us and took off work and came to play. Lydia threw a HUGE cry festwhen it was time to get out, she did not want to stop playing with HER Granddad. :)

Nathan gave Lydia some Rapunzel hair and we let Courtney try it out
and they danced to their hearts content. Everything is more fun with long flowing hair.

Mom has a doughnut reward program for herself and the grand kids. I quite like it. I'll post about that another time. I got the giggles as I watched Coco carefully eat ONLY the top part of her doughnut. Ha ha. I love her smile so much I didn't even care that her eyes were closed to take another one.

There's something about kids wrapped up in towels after a swim - all cuddled together - that I just love. Looks like such a fun summer already!
