Our Stake is celebrating the Relief Society's birthday party {tonight} or what I thought was tonight. I made a BIG, time consuming cake for the cake contest, dipped strawberries and all.
Then I was telling my friend Sharon all about it this morning at the park and she smiles and told me that the party isn't until NEXT week.
Here is the inside. Step by step.
I was a little ticked at myself at first. But I'm laughing now. "Seriously Laura, how hard is it to get a date right?" But I do this often. Not bake cakes, but get dates wrong. Ugh. I annoy myself! (I also rarely know the calendars date as it is. It's amazing that I remember the few birthdays/events that I do. I am horrible I tell you & such a space cadet.)
It can't be frozen, and if it could I don't have room in my itty bitty freezer. So what other chose did I have than to invite some friends over to eat it with me tonight! Lets hope they all come because I am not eating this baby alone!
Will I make another one for next week? Most definitely not like this one. Maybe I'll come up with something new or maybe I'll just relax and just enjoy my friends yummy creations. We'll see!
