We went early, early....1 1/2 hours early, to watch them warm up and all that jazz. Ha ha. We did enjoy walking into the arena and walking DOWN to our seats rather than UP. (Don't get to do that very often.)
We enjoyed every minute of it! It is fun to be so close to all the action. They are SO big and so nice to look at. Kevin Durrant is one handsome player. He smiled the entire time he was warming up and was so friendly, joking around his all his team-mates before the game. Tyson told me details, interesting ones about all of the other players, so it was a lot of fun watching all of them. We did make it one the jumbo-screen once! Yessssssss!
Tyson had bitter feelings toward the ref....because of some calls he has made against the Jazz. Can you tell he is a HUGE fan? He even recognizes the refs. Ha ha.
Our seats were near the basket so it was our job to distract the other team as they made their free throws. :) We got to bring home some blow up toys. Lydia was pleased!
Did they win? No and we are still wondering why the heck not. They tied the game and went into overtime & then still never put in their starting 5 line up. So yes, we could have won the game and should have, but coach Brooks didn't put in his best players. Tyson explained it all to me, had to do with the rankings for the playoffs...and I could explain it all here. But I'll pass on that.
We had a fabulous time and that is all that matters!
PS. Thank you Jone's Eyecare!
