My mother-in-law Beth sent us this quilt in February. I thought it was a package full of Valentine treats and trinkets, but instead I opened and found this A.MAZING quilt. She began this years ago. It is hand stitched and hand cross-stitched!!!! Let me repeat that. Hand stitched and hand cross-stitched. I don't even know how many hours of love that required. But we sure are grateful for it.
Tyson remembers picking out the pattern before he was even thinking about marriage and before he had even met me.
I only put it on our bed for picture purposes. It is too much of a keepsake to use right now. I think we will save it for a spare bedroom someday down the road. I love it...and I love that it smells like their home, the house Tyson grew up in. I'm too sentimental. If you know me, you already knew that. :)
