Canada Girl Skirt & Elder Karl

My Aunt Sharan sent me this darling fabric...so I went to town sewing an itty bitty skirt for Lydia. I always make mistakes in my sewing projects, but I am learning from them and won't make the same one twice, hopefully. It fit her just right, so I call that a success.

The week I finished it we learned we had a NEW missionary in our ward. Elder Karl, he is brand new on his mission and he is from CANADA! (Barnwell, Alberta) He is one sharp Elder and I'm not just saying that because I'm a little biased. So is his companion, they left the 2nd time we had them over and Tyson said, "I wouldn't mind if Lydia married an Elder Frampton." I laughed at first and then agreed. They are both top notch, full of the spirit, polite, learned in the gospel and hard workers.

We sure love having them in our home!

I hate to say it but that top picture makes Lydia look so grown up. Wonderful sewing skills!
