Most of my days begin with Lydia (2.4 yrs) coming into my room, crawling up onto my bed, laying next to me and singing me songs or telling stories. Today began just the same.
I was flustered getting to church...I hate being flustered. Getting myself together, Lydia together and ALL of my primary stuff took a lot longer than I thought it would. Ooops.
We were late to church. I hate being late to anything.
Singing time went well. I planned a "Family Singing Time" today. I dressed some kids up as a family and we sang lots of family songs. It was a nice change, I got lots of giggles so I think they had fun.
After church my Dad called. It was fun to visit with him. Then I wrote in my journal for a bit, ate some lunch and put Lydia down for her nap. While Lydia and Tyson took Sunday afternoon naps I went to ward choir practice. I showed up 20 minutes too early. Ooops. While I waited I practiced the piano in the chapel. It was nice. We sang "I Need Thee Every Hour" I forgot how much I love that hymn.
Tonight we went to the Goepferts for dinner. It is always a lot of fun at their house. I introduced everyone to fresh tortilla's. After a year in Oklahoma I finally found some and we like them so much better than regular flour tortilla's. We ate Taco's and I made a cookie bar for dessert.
Lydia went to bed way too late and Tyson is now watching "Despicable Me," he fell asleep the other night when we were watching it together. Good show. I will probably watch it again tomorrow with Lydia. It reminds me of Antoine. We miss Antoine...and Marie. Zacharie too.
Well that was my day in a nutshell. A rather long nutshell. But there you have it! :)
PS. I took this picture with leftover church hair, Monday morning. Is that cheating?

How long has it been since I've checked your blog? I didn't think it had been very long. Yay for you doing 30 days too! I am having fun with it, even though I feel like it's boring to most anyone who reads it, and, I seem to be a bit spazzy.
Yes it is cheating, especially when you look that great first thing Monday morning with "leftover" church hair. Guess you made up for being late to church by being early to choir practice? haha. If it makes you feel any better we've been late just about every Sunday the past few months, I hate it too.
Where do you get "fresh tortillas" at? Do you make them? I've considered buying some at Costco... but then it's another step in making dinner. :)
