My in-laws were only available to tend during the day, so we went to the temple bright and early and we were in our session at the exact time we got married 6 years ago.
We sat in the Celestial room and saw a couple sitting across the room on 'our' yellow couch waiting to go in for their sealing. We had a good visit about what we thought we knew when it was us sitting there verses what we know now. Pretty much nothing. Ha ha. Just kidding.
Afterwards we went up to the Joseph Smith building for lunch. It was delicious.
The view is always amazing from way up there. I snapped lots of pictures! I love temple square, I love thinking about the history of that place and all the memories I have made there.

There is a new exhibit on temple square (new to me anyways). It is in the South visitor center and it is all about the construction of the Salt Lake temple. We were delighted to see this model, it is a view of the INSIDE of the temple. A lot of other tourists were snapping pictures, so I joined it. I hope it is ok to post this. It is awesome! If you haven't gone to see it, go!
We wondered about that BIG room, with the dance floor....(not a dance floor) but it looks like one and we found out both of our Dad's have been in that room. Super cool.
Anyways.....after all that temple talk....it really was a great anniversary. We did some shopping with our christmas gift card and went home and watched Inception. Good show!
We have sure grown a lot since it was our turn on that yellow couch and even though the tough times are sometimes rough, they do make us grow stronger as individuals and as a couple. I sure am one lucky girl. It is easy being married to him too, we get along so great and I love sharing my life with him.
Spring of 2004- the day after Tyson returned from his mission.
Love you babe! xoxo
