Little fabric rosettes.
These fabric flowers were quick and easy. I want to make some more out of OU fabric...just waiting for it to go on Sale.
My mom gave me a head band similar to this one, it was super cute. I checked it out and with Hilary's help figured they'd be pretty simple to make. We were right.
***I do not however guarantee that your child will love it as much as mine does.
My final and most proud creation was this TAGGY. I really wanted it to crinkle so I messed with a few things and a potato chip bag made the best sound so I went with that.
A Taggy would be a great thing to throw in a church bag but the big one would be too much fun (noisy) so I made a smaller matching one. I was on a roll.
Now if you are wondering to yourself what on earth does one DO with a Taggy? Lydia will now demonstrate.
***They are not intended for 2 year olds with sharp teeth.***
My next project is going to be sewing pillow covers for my couch. Despite what my dear, sweet and awesome husband says I know you'd all agree with me that they are ridiculously UGLY and need a make over!

Look at you go!
I have to say, I think that is the first picture I have ever seen of Lydia crying. I thought she was always calm and happy! :)
I love the pillow covers I did for our couch pillows and like you said, I felt very domestic as I did them. :) Take pictures - can't wait to see them!
I'm so glad I could teach you a thing or two about sewing! We all know how domesticated I am and that not many people compare to my craftyness!
HAHA, yeah right. I'm sure you are talking about an OK Hilary friend and not your UT Hilary friend. I just wish I could be more like Hilary...
you are awesome...I gave a hint hint to my mom a few years ago, and that is how I got my sewing machine for christmas that year, I LOVE it and I know what you mean about feeling so domesticated when your foot goes down on that pedal! I should send you the link for the dress I made out of a mans dress shirt, super easy and fun!
Look at you Miss Crafty. Those taggies turned out great. We should have another craft night so you can make pillow covers.
