Here is my awesome group of Newsies. Don't they look great? I think so, they not only looked great but they put on a fabulous number too.
For history sake here are the names:
Rex family, Chad, Val, Tanner & Pace Satterthwaites, Barry & Dawn Goepfert, Andy & Candice Patterson's, Jeanie Parker, Bre Horn, Brooke, Mike & Darlene King, Taylors, Chantel Davidson, Sharon Wagoner, Sorenson's. Missing: Both Hinckley families.
Before the show at Andrew's Park.
Aubrey, Chantel & I.
Husbands and kiddo's.
My sweet friend Dawn.
Candace choreographed our entire number with her husband and it turned out great! She's awesome!!!
Family photo- Lydia wanted to wear her hat in honor of our number.
This was the stage. Another ward did "Belle" from Beauty & the Beast. They did awesome and some of the girls are in Tyson's seminary class.
Lydia was worn out....she fell asleep on the floor the night we got home.
The next day we hit the road with our show and went to a town called Ada. It is always fun to see new places. It took about an hour and a half to get there and we performed in a really nice auditorium. Here is Abby Patterson & Lydia playing on the stage stairs.
Waiting for the show to start. Chantel, Hilary, Laura & Candice.
Charlie Wagoner took some action shots.
"Friends of the friendless seize the day."
Ending pose.
Sharon, Nathan & Dawn.
Bre (one of my former Activity Day girls.)
Lydia showing Daddy some love.
After party at Braums.
This was such a fun experience. I learned a ton and really appreciated everyone's hard work and giving up so much time to do this for our Stake. We pulled it off with only 3 weeks notice!
*Big Sigh*
