Birthday girls 9-11 and 8-21

Lydia's real birthday was a relaxing laid back day, we talked to lots of family & friends on the phone, played with new toys, she took another long nap and then after Daddy got home from work I made her a birthday dinner. {Grilled hot dogs, chips, string cheese & Capri suns} She was thrilled to pieces!

Here is her little L shaped cake.
She was finally able to blow out her candles
...and boy did she ever!

We ended the day going to the County fair, after we hit the petting zoo she was all tuckered out and ready for bed.

Video for the Grandparents:

I had a birthday too. Back in August. Tyson planned a surprise party/welcome home party for me! He organized the whole thing by himself. So sweet! I have a thoughtful husband. He knows I love friends and parties! It was so fun to see everyone again after being gone for a month.

Anyways. I stole some pictures from a friends FB page. (yep we forgot the camera.) Here they are. Sorry they are ginormas. Tried to shrink em and failed.

Lydia is so beautiful - but you already know that! Birthday parties are always so much fun - a lot of work - but lots of fun. Great job documenting everything so well!

I LOVE the picture of Lydia resting her head on her hand while eating her cake! What a tough job to eat that yummy cake. :)
