{Family Meal Planning & Shopping Guide}

Some friends of mine get together and scrapbook and although I don't scrapbook anymore instead I just find fun projects to work on while I am there so I can still be included and enjoy all the visiting.

This is my latest.

I got my stack of cookbooks out, my recipe binders found all of the favorite, tried & true recipes that I tend to make the most and after some typing, printing, cutting....voila! Now I can just pull out my meal planners, decide what our menu will be, and have a ready list of ingredients all in one place. Another good thing about it is....as the years go on and I continue to collect yummy recipes (something I enjoy) I can add as many as I like.

It didn't take me very long and I think I will really use it. I have so many favorite recipes that I ended up making 3 books, one for Main Courses, Salads & Sides and Desserts.

I got the idea on this blog. Check it out. She explains how to make it, Easy peasy!

Cute idea! That sounds like so much fun to get together with friends and work on projects like this. Do the kids just play while you all scrapbook? Fun!

If you don't scrapbook anymore what do you do with your photos?

Megan, Kids are invited to come and play with the other kids...mostly all toddlers, but it is in the evening so I just leave Lydia at home with Tyson.

Angela, I now buy photo pocket books at Target and I order my pictures from Snapfish. 9 cents a photo....and I have a family album and one for Lydia too.

I still have all my scrapbook stuff if I ever change my mind, but for now it works for my time and budget. :)
