We haven't seen everything on this island just yet. ;) We went out and did a little more exploring on my Birthday.
This is the biggest Latte stone on the island.
If you look closely you can spot the Navy Hospital up on the hill.
Some facts for the books: A latte stone, or simply latte is the term for a pillar (Chamorro language: haligi) capped by a hemispherical stone capital (tasa) with the flat side facing up. Used as building supports by the ancient Chamorro people, they are found throughout most of the Mariana Islands. In modern times, the latte stone is seen as a sign of Chamorro identity and is used in many different contexts.
And old fall out shelter.
This park had some great trees.
For my birthday activity I chose to go to a Water Slide park. We let Lydia choose a friend. We picked up Mason and headed out. We went to Tarza. They have about 8 slides, a beautiful lazy river and our passes included lunch. Tyson had the day off and we played so hard that our feet hurt by the end of the day.

The girls LOVED this rainbow colored slides. I spent a good majority of the afternoon watching them go down each one about 8 times.
The family tube slide was my favorite. All 4 of us could go down together. Sooo fun!
It was a great birthday!
