This and That (Jan 2015)

I was asked to sing 'My Favorite Things' at a Relief Society function and every sister was asked to bring her favorite things. I brought 3 of my favorite children books. It was a lovely night. 

We have the ocean in our backyard but Lydia still requests an occasional trip to the pool.

After the pool we dropped her off to keep playing with Morgan and Tyson and I went snorkeling at Gab Gab. This was my rear view before pulling away.

This is our awesome group of missionaries. They were taking photo's after church and snagged us as we were walking to our car.

I watched the Superbowl at the Navy Hospital this year. Most of the Navy gets Monday morning off work to watch the game but not the hospital. Instead they had it playing in the education rooms and those who could sneak away for a minute came in. It was such a fun 4th quarter and we had some yummy food too.

I love these Carrot Applesauce muffins. They have no white sugar and they are delicious. I've made them a few times and they always taste great. The recipe is getting passed around my group of friends and so I thought I would share it here as well. LINK. 

The sisters came for dinner. They are fabulous. Sister Matisima is from Chuke and Misinale is from Hawaii.

Tyson had to spend another night at the hospital on watch duty. We took him some pizza for dinner since it was Friday night.

I followed this tutorial on Lydia's hair for Valentines day.
