Since we were in the thick of moving into our home during Christmas time I did my best get the home decorated for Christmas and start on some of our favorite Christmas traditions. Along with some of our old ones we added in some new ones on Guam.
We visited Santa at the Governors Mansion. The Collins family invited us and it was beautifully decorated, delicious food and free pictures with Santa.
One evening we drove up to Anderson Airforce base and walked up and down Rota Street. All the homes are decorated, music and movies are playing, people are handing out treats and they had live music. It was very strange to walk around in the thick humidity wearing our summer clothes.
The Hospital hosted a Christmas party for Children and we took Lydia once Saturday morning. She pinned the nose on Ruldolph and won a $10 gift certificate to our big store on base, the NEX.
Lydia's Elf Ella found us. She brings a special kind of magic to our house.
Lydia made a count down paper Christmas chain.
We made peppermint fudge and delivered it to the neighbors.
We sent out Christmas cards.
We watched the First Presidency Devotional.
We watched lots of our favorite holiday movies.
We went shopping for a gift for Tyson.
We attended Christmas fireside at church.
We went to our Christmas Eve day movie, Annie.
We watched a video message from Santa Clause.
Friends invited us over to make cookies and do crafts.
We listened to lots of Christmas music on Spotify.
