Christmas Eve & Day

I was a little bit on the ball with Christmas dinner prep and we were able to enjoy our Christmas Eve day to the fullest.
Did I mention Ella the Elf found us on Guam. Lydia loves this Elf.
Back to Christmas Eve day. The Collins invited us over to do crafts and decorate cookies. Their cousins were visiting from Congo.

Morgan, Paij & Jaycee. (Cousins)
We used paint brushes and smooth frosting to make this fun cookies.

After a fun morning with friends we met Tyson at his work and we ate Steak and Lobster for Lunch at the hospital Galley. It was delicious!

We kept our tradition alive and went to a movie in town. It was darling!
After a simple meal, German pancakes and sausage Tyson built us a nice fire and we had a little Christmas eve family home evening. We watched a Christmas Classic movie, read Luke 2, sang some songs, read some more of our favorite books....and put cookies out for Santa.

Lydia was allowed to give Ella one hug before she went to bed. Ella left her dog for Lydia to take care of while she's gone.

Santa found us all the way in Guam.

Lydia asked for Walkie Talkies and a Nut Cracker. Santa delivered just what she wanted.

Lydia picked out the game Trouble to give to her Dad. They play it all the time.
Lydia was over the moon excited to get a Mermaid Tale from her Grandparents.

Tyson bought me a Selfie Stick. Fun eh?! All the Asian tourist have them and I love watching them. I told Tyson I needed one as a joke and voila. Ha ha.

Lydia was one lucky girl. She got so many lovely gifts from her Grandparents and Aunts & Uncles. Thank you everyone!

We skyped with family. Here is Lydia and Courtney.
Then we hit the beach! It was windy, wavy and drizzly and then Tyson cut his foot on a rock so our outing didn't last very long. But the tale works and Lydia LOVES it!

Christmas day ended with a houseful of Missionaries! We met them at the church and then drove them into our neighborhood that has a gate pass. We crammed them all in tight, some of them even crawled into the trunk of our SUV. It was a sight to see.
We fed them ham, potatoes, rolls, jell-o, salad, deviled eggs, corn and peppermint ice cream for dessert.
We were supposed to feed 6 of them but the number slowly kept growing and in the end we had 10. Tyson and I bought a new kitchen table and now we have plenty of room to feed the masses. ;) The 3 of us ate at Lydia's princess table on camping chairs. Classy eh?
Before dinner we had everyone introduce themselves and share a favorite Christmas memory.
After dinner we visited, played some games and Mermaid Lydia made an appearance.
Celine Dion became an inside joke during our game. Elder Arcayan apparently has a thing for her voice . ;)
We had to try out my new Selfie stick. It works!

It was a joy and pleasure to feed this bunch. They made Christmas day extra special and one we will always remember. I sent them all home with a few gifts. We sure love these hard working missionaries they are changing the lives of so many people here are Guam.
