Scenic Drive

One Saturday afternoon we took a drive around the Southern part of the island. We knew it would take us a few hours. But we ended up stopping every few miles to get out and check out the beautiful views, look outs, churches and beaches. We only got half way around and then it quickly became dark. We were bummed that we couldn't see anything else because we knew we were missing out. We finally made it home 2 hours later.

It was insanely beautiful. Check it out!

This green hill is amazing.

The main religion here is Catholic. We passed lots of beautiful churches on our drive and lots of unique cemeteries.
This one was nestled into to the side of this hill.

We spotted a caribou. They are special to the island.
We stopped here to get out and explore.

Right after this it got dark and it gets super dark here. The sunsets at 6:00 p.m. every evening. I am still getting used to this. For some reason it caught me off guard because it feels like summer and I was expecting the sun to stay up late into the evenings. This is so not the case but that's ok. We will just make a point to start our adventures earlier in the day.
