Chamorro Village

Each Wednesday night the locals come out and set up shop at Chamorro Village.  We were told by many people that we needed to check it out. It is thee place to be, apparently. They have food stands everywhere, lots of crafts to buy, souvenir shops, dancing, rare animals and live entertainment.

The food was delicious!

The coconut juice was an experience. But I most likely won't order it again. Tyson's mango pineapple smoothie blew healthy drink out of the water. ;)

I loved all of the treasures. Lydia wanted to buy just about everything we saw. Its a good thing I did my Christmas shopping before I left the States or you'd all be getting island souvenirs for Christmas. :)

The cultural dancers were wonderful. Every week they have a different group come and perform. We stood and watched their performance and it was surreal thinking this is our life now.

Here are the rare animals I mentioned earlier. I love the food here on the island but heaven help me if I ever run into one of these crabs. I think would die!

PS. Happy American Thanksgiving! We will be celebrating the same way to do back home, a little Turkey Bowl spectating in the morning and a Turkey dinner in the evening. I have so very much to be grateful for this year. I love this time of year.

I am especially grateful for:
Air Conditioning
A car that works great
A nice hotel to live in
A date to move into our new home
The internet
 New friends
Missionaries
Tyson's new job
The ocean
Lydia's nice teacher
My family
A new church calling
Healthy bodies
New experiences that make us stretch
