Bear Lake Part 2 (with the Ash family)

The Ash's arrived Saturday and stayed until Monday. Madison their eldest son was set apart as a Missionary for our church and got to sit back and relax as the rest of us played on the beach. He is heading to Reno, Nevada. He was so ready go but he endured his pre-mission vacation well. ;)

Jake helping helping crack the eggs for breakfast. 26 total...he told me.
Miranda and the kiddo's.
Maverick is a beach baby.
Lydia was the first kid to go all the way under the chilly lake water. Atta girl!

Adam, Aaron & Scott talking about who know's what.
Playing a little Kan Jam.
Courtney.
Men, hard at work.
We had a fun morning playing on this inflatable floating trampoline.
Our favorite was watching Jake & Logan attempting to throw Adam off the top. It never happened.
Logan's action shot!
All of us jumped off, slid off or got thrown off. It was a blast!
I lied. Everyone but Madison....excuse me, I mean Elder Ash.

Aaron (my cousin) took the kids over to the rock wall (twice) to build an Inushuk. An inuksuk is a stone landmark or cairn built by humans, used by the Inuit, Inupiat, Kalaallit, Yupik, and other peoples of the Arctic region of North America. These structures are found from Alaska to Greenland. And now my friends, their is one at the Ideal Beach Resort.

Isn't is awesome!
I think it is beautiful in its own way.

This cloud entertained us as we sat and watched it form at the beach.

On Monday Afternoon the Ashes & Jake headed to the caves and the rest of us either took a break from the sun while the others went to the pool.

Grandad plays with all the kids....my camera just seems to take more pictures of Lydia. ;)
Nana bought Lydia a pair of goggles for Christmas and when they are on she turns into a fish and I see a huge improvement in her swimming. She can go further without needing to take a breath.
But when she does need a breath.... its a HUGE one!
Maverick likes the hot tub like his Momma does....and people blowing on his tummy.

Sarah took the next few pics of everyone chilling in the condo.

Carlee and I went on a walk and took some pictures of the girls in their matching dresses.

Mom & Dad bought them for Easter and the girls finally wore them on the same day.
I love Courtney's toothless smile.
Logan turned 12 while we were at Bear Lake.

Sunday afternoon at Bear Lake included visiting, naps, reading books and running around in the field.

After a delicious dinner we ended with some Skor cake.

PS. The Ash's love us! Check out all the yummy Canadian treats they brought us!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
