These sum up our rules at Bear Lake just perfectly!
Its what we do. Its what we love and I am definitely grateful for this place.
I love the memories I have made coming to this place for most of my life and the memories that Lydia is making too.
Brooklyn will have memories too someday. But for now we will just snap pictures for her.
Lydia spent an entire Sunday afternoon and evening playing with only Logan and these two despite their age difference make such good friends.
Maverick is still wrapped around Granddads finger. Or Granddads wrapped around Maverick. Either way....I'm pretty sure the love is mutual!
Logan took over my camera a couple times during this trip.
He loves to capture moments like I do.
I took this one of Mom cuddling with Brooklyn. Mom has a way of calming down Brooklyn when Heather is not around.
The Easter Bunny brings Lydia a new suit, flip flops and sunscreen each year. He
has great taste. I love this tankini.
The slide was a hit this year...and every year.
The pool was more crowded than were used to on Memorial Day but it didn't stop the kids from having fun!
I spy Scott?
Lydia always has her nose in a book at the pool. Ha ha.
Courtney too.
The beach had a sandbar this year. We named the lake to the right, "Lake Maverick"
It was perfect for Maverick and the other kids to play because it was fairly warm.
A favorite game was playing pass with Brooklyn.
Can you see her little pink hat in the boat?
Tyson was home starting up at his summer internship. I snapped a picture of his favorite thing about Bear Lake just to rub it in. This is the field after its been freshly cut to perfection. We sure missed him!
When the other husbands went home to work it was just us girls. We had such a fun time together.
Lots of late night visits, laughing, good food and helping each other with the kids.
We
Maverick did a jumping shot all on his own.
The kids can spend hours exploring and playing on the beach. It is wonderful.
The kids played a few rounds of mini golf.
It was Lydia's first time playing and she got a hole in one twice. One the same whole. I witnessed the first and Mom the second. Crazy cool!
This is how Brooklyn feels about watching golf all afternoon. Ha ha.
Logan took over my camera once more.
Maverick loves his bubba and his blanket. He intertwines his finger and it must bring him comfort. So sweet.
