"I wish I was a Doughnut."

Lydia and I had some time to kill last week while in Layton. 

I spotted the HOT and ready sign on at Kripsy Creme doughnut. 

I figured we'd take a little field trip. She had never been there before.

I gave Lydia the low down of the doughnut making process. 

They make the dough....the dough gets cut into a circle.....drop em in the greasy oil...

then I showed her the part with the glaze, I said, "....then they take a shower in glaze"

Her eyes lit up, she was peering through the glass and in all seriousness said,

 "I wish I was a doughnut."

I couldn't help but laugh. 

I told her the plain glazed are the best....but what 5 year old can resist sprinkles. 

Mine can't!
