Every day life in January has been pretty good.
Dance class.
Silly girl in the tub. "Mom, come see this!!!"
My oldest and sweetest friend Danielle turned 30 and her husband requested some picture messages so he could put together a video slide show for her.
Our new friend Yey came over to play. She was so brave to come, she doesn't speak English, her family just moved here from Mexico.
They girls got along great and we found a few games to play that didn't require too much communication.
I made some delicious Dark Chocolate Cordial cookies. (Let me know if you want the recipe and I'll type it up. It is in a recipe book and I can't find a link.)
Lydia has been making Rainbow loom bracelets.
We've seen lots of construction action happening out back.
I made this dessert. It has pound cake, dark chocolate, walnuts, almonds and raspberries. Mmmm. Recipe here.
Courtney and Lydia finally got to hold baby Brooklyn. It was an exciting occasion.
Heather got her hair chopped off. I think it is soooo cute!
Courtney came for a sleepover and she loves to eat cereal before bed.
My heart was so full as I watched these two smile, giggle and interact with each other. They are so lucky to have each other as cousin friends.Lydia had a little incident. She asked for a piece of dark chocolate. I told her no and that she would have to wait until after dinner. Without my knowledge she stuffed in in her leggings to "save" it for later. Well, two hours later she felt something squishy and it had melted. Ha ha.
This kid cracks me up!!!!
